SOUTHWEST HARBOR - Andrew Wilfred
Watson, 73, died Jan. 9, 2001, at MDI
Hospital. He was born April 17, 1927, on Swans Island, the son of
Andrew Jackson and Della (Withee) Watson. Andy was an avid hunter and
enjoyed lobster fishing. He was also employed as a maintenance foreman
for the Nashua New Hampshire Foundation for a number of years. He also
enjoyed being around his family and friends and the family gathering
that were held yearly. Andy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Arlene
Mary (Davis) Watson; three sons and daughters-in-law, Wilfred and Debra
Watson of Center Barnstead, N.H., Bruce and Thelma Watson of Penacook,
N.H. and Jeff and Carolyn Watson of Merrimack, N.H.; three daughters,
Sherry Goodwin of Nashua, N.H., Dawn and husband, Steve Dubuc of
Nashua, N.H. and Belinda and husband, Rusty Reed of Southwest Harbor;
two brothers, Clifton and wife, Ruth Watson of Mt. Desert and Gilbert
Watson of Rockland; one sister, Annie Reed of Milford; 27 grandchildren
and 16 great-grandchildren. Andy will be remembered by a special
friend, Sherry Colbeth. He was predeceased by daughter, Catherine
Tucker, Aug. 9, 1993. At Andy's request there will be no service.
