Nathan P.
Hall
studied at the
ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO, 1972-75. A native of Maine he now resides on
Mount Desert Island in the village of Southwest Harbor, near his new
studio/gallery. Using oil
paints on canvas, he has painted many of the beautiful sites of Mount
Desert Island -- a constant source of inspiration. He also has painted
abroad and spent many winters painting in the Florida Keys at the "Rain
Barrel," located in Islamorada, Florida
Inspired by the early Impressionists and
their love of color, Hall's most popular work includes landscapes,
flower gardens, and the ever changing coast of Maine. In recent years,
his large oil paintings of the underwater water world of dolphins and
whales also have become a favorite among collectors.
Hall's paintings have been
exhibited throughout Maine; in the Bar Harbor area, where he
operated his own gallery for several years and now has his gallery in
Southwest Harbor at 363b Main street.. His work is in
collections throughout the United States as well as many other
countries.
Drop by the gallery and view some of his
paintings.
Nathan does a most of his work right at the gallery. You have a good chance of finding
Nathan there--Just
painting away.
