Hello, I’m Carol Schaefer, a native of Maine and a resident of Mount Desert Island for nearly 20 years. 
I hold a degree in elementary education, and taught locally for over 10 years prior to joining a real estate firm here on MDI,
where I worked for another 10 years as a very successful real estate rental agent.  I’ve recently joined The Davis Agency
 as a Sales Agent, and am both enthusiastic and optimistic about this new chapter for me.  My knowledge of the area and my
expertise in real estate rentals brings another level to this business.  I look forward to working with the professional and
cordial staff at The Davis Agency, and I’m also excited about helping buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals.

I live locally in Southwest Harbor with my fiancé, Eric, and our yellow lab, Tucker.  Well above Lake Wobegon standards,
 I’m the mother of three grown and wonderful children; I’m also the grandmother of two little boys-- equally wonderful.
 I assist with Eric’s building and storage businesses, run a baby equipment rental business on the side, and in
my spare time dabble in community theater, a local choir, and participate in fundraising for the local SPCA.
