DESCRIPTION: This charming home will make a perfect place for you Maine vacation. The craftsman style living room with cathedral ceiling and stone fireplace make for a cozy evening in front of the fire. There is a large South facing deck that overlooks the back yard with a distant view of the harbor over the tops of the trees. Also convenient to town for dining, shopping and one of the many stops for the free Island Explorer bus service for a day of activities around Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park.  **Please note: For their own sake & for renters, home owners take great care to minimize environmental allergens.  However, the family does have a Siberian cat, chosen as a pet because the breed is low-allergen & tolerates weekly bathing.  Owners' quilts & blankets are separate from renters'& are stored in airtight bins when not in use; all shared linens & surfaces are washed, vacuumed, etc. between stays.  However, prospective renters with severe cat allergies might wish to choose a different property
LAYOUT:  MAIN LEVEL: Small cozy kitchen, dining room, step down to the family room, formal living room with stone fireplace. Master bedroom with a queen bed and full bath.
