Another  porch on the 2nd story offers views of the harbor and surrounding area. The cottage is located within a walking distance of 2 - 3 minutes to town for dining, shopping, activities and local events. You can also catch the free Island Explorer bus in town for a day of sightseeing and adventure in Acadia National Park. There is also a public path to the water which offers easy access to the shore and a great spot to launch a kayak or canoe.
LAYOUT:  FIRST LEVEL: Covered porch, dining area (seating for 4), living room, kitchen, bathroom with combined shower and tub and bedroom with a queen bed. LOFT AREA: Accessible via a ships ladder - queen bed, a twin bed and a small 2nd floor deck accessible via a spiral staircase off the front porch. **Due to spiral staircase & ladder, this property is not suitable for children.
