Love this cottage. We have returned many times and intend to continue to do so. The only thing that could be improved upon concerns the beautiful view!We could not help but notice that it is starting to be hidden by overgrowth at the hedge of the property. It would be wonderful is something could be done about it.

Wonderful spot, protected cove kept us safe even from Hurricane Irene! Close to all, great little restaurants. Easy put in for the kayak, saw grey seal and porpoises in the harbor by the Coast Guard station, a real treat

Relaxing, rejuvenating - a little slice of heaven.

We loved the cottage. It had a perfect location for us. We could hike all day, return to the cottage; sit on the deck , with wine in hand and watch the tides come in and go out. When we were finished with that activity we could walk to Beals or to town for dinner. We can not wait to rerent this cottage agin next year.

What a great little place! Where else could we see bald eagles and osprey sitting on our back patio! Calm Waters is the perfect launching spot in a perfect little town. The boys had a great time kayaking at high tide & exploring at low tide. We loved swimming in Echo Lake, exploring tide pools, and all the great hiking trails. Hope to do it all again soon!

Dear Owners and (Cleaners)
Thank you for sharing your home away from home with us. It was clean, cozy, bright and a perfect relaxing vacation. Mr Bob's Tea House is simply delightful. The boys enjoyed exploring their "cool fort"--equipped with rope pulleys, lobster trap, TV and games! The sun was shining all week on us! Cheers! Ruth, Dave, Dylan and Aldan - Essex, MA

Another wonderful two weeks at Calm Waters. This year we introduced our one year old German Shepherd Gina to the wonderful town of Southwest Harbor. We think she will be as sorry to say goodbye for another year as we are.

We had a delightful time. We really enjoyed the cottage and "Bob's tea house". We biked a lot, went to Cranberry Island, climbed Cadillac, went to Bar Harbor and Bar Island, ate many lobsters, kayaked and explored The Quiet Side. We loved being close to town. We did all this despite rain 7 out of 8 days (UGH). Oh well, "carpe diem" as they say.

Additional comments: I like how close it was to the public docs. I could go fishing every day. Bob's Tea House was great! I could get away from my parents.

Thank you for the experience. Tom, Kelly, Kilian and Mitchell Smith.

Thank you for another wonderful week at Calm Waters.  We hate to leave this beautiful spot on the harbor.  See you next year!
